Three 6 Mafia’s Koopsta Knicca Dies from Stroke
This is beyond saddening. One of the original members of Three 6 Mafia, Koopsta Knicca, has passed away. He died after suffering a stroke last weekend and being hospitalized ever since.
Born Robert Cooper Phillips, the artist was pronounced dead on Thursday. DJ Paul made the announcement on social media. He explained Koopsta was on life support and was fighting for his life, but died overnight. “Everyone who knew Koop knew hew was very funny and the coolest guy ever! He will be missed,” Paul wrote.
Knicca was only 40. Ironically, he was the same age as Lord Infamous, the other Three 6 Mafia member who passed away in 2013. RIP!
