Tinashe’s sophomore album, JOYRIDE, has suffered some delays, and while it’s been without a release date for some time, the release of the sunny Dream and Tricky Stewart-assisted “Superlove” suggested it could arrive soon. Now, the title track, which was rumored to have been given to Rihanna, has made its way online, finding Tinashe linking with Travis Scott for the first time since here Black Water mixtape cut and fan favorite, “Vulnerable.” Noisy industrial drums and synths give the track a dark tinge, contrasted by the singer’s dynamic vocal performance, punctuated with glitchy harmonies. Whether or not this makes the cut of her impending project, look out for JOYRIDE soon.
