Tiny Boost — 240 Seconds (Pt. 1) [New Song]

240 Seconds (Pt. 1)

Following the success of his raw and uncompromising comeback tracks ‘2 Days’ and ‘Streets Back’, which were made available on all major digital platforms just yesterday, today Peckham based rapper Tiny Boost is back again with brand new single ‘240 Seconds Part 1’.

Tiny Boost marks his return after recently being signed to fellow rapper Giggs’ record label ‘No Bullshit’, home to SN1 veterans Kyze, Joe Grind and Gunna Dee. In just a few months we have seen Tiny Boost take the scene by storm on various platforms, such as LinkUp TV’s ‘Behind Barz’ as well as Mixtape Madness’ ‘Mad About Bars’ which has accumulated over 200,000 YouTube views collectively. To no surprise, this new drop maintains the undeniably energetic presence that we can all agree he has found his comfort zone in, establishing him once again as a quality name within the UK scene.

The UNIVERSE mixed track finds Tiny Boost rapping intensely over an enticing and sinister beat, which he elevates through outspoken and candid lyrics. It reminds those who have followed his journey of the sentimental SN1 sound, simultaneously delivering a current feel. As he hones in on his vigorous flows and relentless bars that show no sign of being dated, Tiny Boost prepares the scene just in time for his forthcoming mixtape ‘Strictly for The Streets’.

Boost’s journey began in Peckham, South London, bursting into the scene alongside friends Shocks and Tinky Darko, among many others, forming the notorious rap collective ‘PYG’. His musical abilities were soon advanced when he was featured on Giggs’ legendary mixtape ‘Ard Bodied’ and breakthrough debut album ‘Walk in da Park’ back in 2008. Fast forward a year later, the pair pleased the nation with their joint mixtape ‘Who Said That’. However, following a few years of inactivity within the thriving UK music scene, Boost carries the wisdom, experience and rawness that made UK Rap great in the first place. “I started out as a young kid on the streets of Peckham. I’ve always been a leader, and I want to bring that same energy into music now” he says.

His remarkable redemption is bringing something that has been missing back to UK rap.

“This is a survival story – I’ve lost people to jail, I’ve lost people in the streets; but I’m a survivor.”
