Top Flite Empire Call On Nef The Pharaoh For “LIT.”
Top Flite Empire enlist their family and E-40’s artist Nef The Pharaoh (Big Tymin) from the Bay Area to help assist them with their new club banger “#LIT”.
Not to be confused with the legendary golf equipment manufacturer Top Flite, Top Flite Empire is a Denver-based rap that has been buzzing around the Rocky Mountain region as of late. They’ve been working closely with Dem Jointz on their upcoming project Bad Decisions, which released on May 27th and hit the Billboard charts as the #1 Heatseekers album for their region.
“#Lit” is an uncompromising Bay Area blapper produced by Cheff Premier And President Gomez. Having headlined the world’s largest 4/20 for four consecutive years, Top Flite Empire knows a thing or two about the meaning of #lit.
Top Flite said “In Denver, all the clubs are low-key. “In order to have fun you have to get wasted! And since the clubs are pretty much all in one area, the club “let outs” are usually better than the club itself. Its the perfect time to drink or get #LIT. We got this crazy beat that sounded like the Bay Area so we had to get our family Nef The Pharaoh on the track.”
The duo of Top Flite Empire is comprised of King Tef (Sean Garris), who’s been rapping and performing since the age of 5 and Hypnautic (Brian Godeaux), a commanding presence who quite literally cites music as saving his life. Poised to become the biggest rap group to come out of Denver, their previous mixtape included “OTFTM”, one of the most requested songs on Sirius XM. Since 2011, Top Flite Empire has been building a massive following in the Rocky Mountain Region, where their performances draw upwards of 2,500 people. Last year, they headlined KS107.5 All Stars 4 Concert alongside Lil Wayne, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Lil Jon, Mac 10 and Jermaine Dupri. For four years in a row, they headlined the world’s largest 4/20 rally, with attendance exceeding 80,000 people in 2014.
