Tory Lanez has officially released the first single and video, “Jerry Sprunger” off of his highly anticipated album Chixtape 5. The Toronto native takes us on a walk down memory lane while recruiting T-Pain for the track and guest star video appearance.
Full of nostalgic sentiments from durags and bandanas to oversized t-shirts and jerseys, “Jerry Sprunger” reminds us all of the trendiest vibes from the 2000s. Keeping in line with Chixtape tracks from the past, the new single is a sample putting a present-day twist on T-Pain’s original hit song “I’m Sprung.” The Nappy Boy also returns with a new verse for the track and brings his personality to the backyard BBQ party video.
Lanez recently announced the November 15th release date for Chixtape 5, which will feature more samples from the era’s most popular chart-topping songs. Fans can now pre-order the Chixtape 5 here.
