Watch A-Trak, Falcons, Young Thug and 24Hrs video for “Ride For Me.”
A-Trak is one of the best at bridging the gaps in music and culture, and his new video for “Ride For Me” — a collaboration with Falcons, Young Thug and 24Hrs — imagines a world in which ’90s NYC skateboarding videos were soundtracked by modern day Atlanta rap music. Directed by skateboard legend and Zoo York co-founder Eli Morgan Gesner, the video seamlessly splices together some of Eli’s vintage NYC skate footage with shots of A-Trak, Young Thug and 24Hrs filmed on an old Hi-8 video camera.
A-Trak threw a premiere party for the video in NYC last night, with a donation going to the foundation of the late skateboarder and Kids actor Harold Hunter, who appears in the video.

A-Trak and I are old friends. Back in the late 90’s, A-Trak, DJ Craze, Infamous, Develop, and the rest of the World Champion DJ crew – The Allies used to practice out of the old Zoo York offices on West 13th Street. They were all in ‘Mix Tape 2: Unbreakable’. A few months back A-Trak contacted me about doing a skate related video for Young Thug. As much as I love Thugger, he famously doesn’t show for videos. So, this was an issue for me. But after Trak sent me thew song, I loved it so much I had to do it.
