Travis Scotts explains the reason he sent the cameraman off stage at the Summer Jam

Hands down, Travi$ Scott delivered the most memorable set at Summer Jam 2015 and a proof can be found on this link. During his act, the artist premiered his new single “3500” featuring 2 Chainz and Future, but he also had a few controversial moments. In the first place, he was pissed at HOT 97 for not allowing him to add a screen to the stage where he could project visuals, thus enrich the experience. He voiced his dissatisfaction, before getting at the security guards and a cameraman for ruining his gig.

Stopping by The Cruz Show on Power 106, La Flame elaborated on the situation with the camera operator. He explained that he felt like the guy, whose name is Jameer Pond, is distracting the audience and that was enough of a reason for him to turn him away from the stage. He also explained this is not the first time he asks someone who shouldn’t be on stage with him to leave, even if it’s an A-list celebrity or a homie of his. As far as calling the cameraman “nerdy,” Scott admitted he got caught in the moment. Pond also spoke on his onstage encounter with Travi$ right after the show. He said he felt violated, but does accept Scott’s apology.
