There has been a big development in the shooting at Irving Plaza on Wednesday night (May 25). According to the NY Daily News, Roland Collins (Troy Ave) has been charged with “reckless endangerment and illegal weapons possession,” according to sources.

The incident happened at T.I.’s concert at the venue but the shooting took place prior to the Atlanta rapper taking the stage. 3 people were wounded by bullets, and one man was left dead — 33-year-old Ronald McPhatter aka Banga — who was said to be a part of Troy’s camp. Various witnesses have come forward to state that Ave was shooting in self defense, but nothing has been confirmed by authorities.

The report goes on to state that Troy shot himself in the leg and shows alleged video of the rapper shooting a gun at an unknown person. Authorities are awaiting on the results of ballistics tests before they charge Troy Ave with any further crimes.
