TyC comes from a diverse background of genres and after leaving Berklee to go on tour with Carousel, he’s spent years honing his craft as both a songwriter and a producer. He spent 2017 shadow producing and working with a network of artists signed with different labels and is finally ready to release his own projects! He met Jordan doing industry session work in L.A and the two decided to skip the middleman and go independent for this gem of an electronic crossover.
Jordan Humphrey is a Country/Pop artist from Atlanta Georgia. Jordan got his start in Nashville at the age of 16 when he was selected to tour with the legendary David Foster. One of Jordan’s biggest strengths is his ability to cross boundaries in music styles. After his success in Nashville, he was pursued by AKON and was selected to be part of the BET College Tour. Jordan has been writing in California for acts like Hailee Steinfeld, Andy Grammer, Prince Fox, MiC LOWRY, SOMO, and more. Jordan is planning to launch his project early 2019.
“Tongue Tide” is a fresh take on a modern folk sound combining Ty’s unique pop sensibilities with Jordan’s contemporary country aesthetic. Ty produced, mixed and wrote the song and combined forces with Jordan to bring the record to life! Jordan’s unique tone sets this song in a genre of it’s own as he effortlessly transitions through the ups and downs of this soulful country power-ballad.
