After being sued over missed car payments, a bench warrant has now been issued for his arrest. According to TMZ, the rapper has yet to make the payment he owes to a concertgoer who got injured during one of his shows more than six years ago.
He was allegedly served properly for an order to appear in court for the hearing, but didn’t show. Now the judge wants him arrested and has set his bail at $250,000.
In 2015, Tyga’s music company was sued by Shyanne Riekena, who won a judgment for injuries sustained when a light stand fell on her, leaving a 4-inch gash on her head. Riekena was awarded $235,000, but the amount grew with interest to $250,000 in 2017.
The warrant follows last week’s report that Tyga is being sued over missed car payments. He allegedly owes $128,000 on a 2012 Ferrari 458 Spider and a 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost, which he leased back in 2016.
