Tyga Says Kanye West Helped Resolve Beef with Drake
With a new mixtape now out, Tyga stopped by Real 92.3 L.A. to promote Rawwest Ni**a Alive and its upcoming 13-date tour. During the on-air interview, T-Raww decided to speak on his beef with former labelmate Drake.

“Ain’t no tension…we cool. We on good terms,” said Tyga (at the 14:10 mark), who also said Kanye played a part in the two burying their past issues. “He [Kanye] put us in a room together when he was doing his fashion show…we gave each other a hug and just chopped it up,” he later said. “If somebody’s not taking anything away from you, your family or from your 💰 then you should never have a problem, as a man.”
The beef between Tyga and Drake began back in late 2014, where the L.A. rapper called Drizzy fake and said he doesn’t get along with him or Nicki Minaj in an interview with VIBE. The OVO co-founder responded with a few subliminal moves on Instagram, and later released the song “6PM In New York” with a line aimed at Tyga.
In the interview on Tuesday night (Jan. 26), Tyga also revealed that Kanye will be featured on his next solo LP.
