If you live in America then you might be familiar with the show “Songland.” The second season of NBC’s songwriting competition series began a few weeks ago, and last night’s (June 15) episode featured Usher as a celebrity judge. After running the songwriting gamut, if you will, contestant Ryan — with help from producer and host Ester Dean —would emerge victorious, with Ush choosing his song “Staying Over” to record.
Following some edits, and a Tyga appearance, the track was rechristened “California.” That track can be heard below.
