Bas & J. Cole Link Up for “Passport Bros” Video

The music video for Bas and J. Cole’s new song “Passport Bros” has finally arrived, and the duo are seen travelling the globe.

Filmed by Simon Chasalow and set to an afrobeat instrumental, the video shows the Dreamville performers celebrating their international triumph anywhere from a party bus to the craps tables in Las Vegas to Johannesburg.

Bas sings, “I’ma get you to Rollie / I’ma take you to Italy / I’ma need you to show me everything that’s gon’ be,” while eating sushi and drinking sake in a Tokyo bar. Meanwhile, Cole unleashes a sizzling stanza in which he brags about his recent success.

Me and my friend Bassy were drinking Clase in Barcelona when the news broke that I had acquired a minority stake in the company. Jermaine, who just bought a piece of the Charlotte Hornets, raps that he’ll be ready to play as soon as Coach Cliff suits him up.

“Passport Bros” follows “Diamonds” as the second single from Bas’ upcoming album, We Only Talk About Real Shit When We’re Fucked Up.
