The new single “Cheat On Me” by Burna Boy features Dave.
The accompanying video features two Nigerian and London superstars bragging about their international fame and discussing recent travels and studio sessions.
Dave joins Burna Boy in rapping, “And they have no plans to leave town for good / Standing my feet down, me, I be leader, oh / So me and you na different calibre / Taking my niggas around the world,” which essentially means that Burna Boy and Dave are not planning to leave town permanently. In this song, Oluwa Burna says, “Me and Oluwa Burna, we fly to Ibiza / Make you no deny me my Visa / Bring a likkle gyal, likkle reefer / It’s cheaper to keep her.”
Released this Friday (August 25), I Told Them… is Burna Boy’s sixth studio album and features guest performances from J. Cole, 21 Savage, Sey Vibez, and Byron Messiah.
