With his new track, “Luxury Life,” produced by Swizz Beatz, Busta Rhymes reunites with Coi Leray and goes all out.
The cinematic video, directed by Benny Boom, features the “Players” duo holding each other down and trading clever bars in a style reminiscent of Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 blockbuster film, Pulp Fiction.
A rapping Busta tells his partner, “Don’t turn that pussy into sour fruit” as they loot a cafe. “We ain’t talkin’ about that coward boo,” he says. Coi Leray continues, “Never that, let me rap, fuck the cap ’cause girls is players too, remember that?”
Featuring a sample of The Whole Darn Family’s “Seven Minutes of Funk,” made famous by JAY-Z and Foxy Brown on “Ain’t No Nigga,” this tune follows Busta Rhyme’s “Beach Ball” featuring BIA and coincides with the release of Coi Leray’s new Blue Moon EP.
