Clavish Team Up with Aitch for “Tip Toes” Single — Watch

The release of ‘Tip Toes,’ a collaboration with BRIT Award–winning Manchester rapper Aitch, continues Clavish’s productive run, which has kept the rap game on its toes all year.

Clavish shows off his flexibility on “Tip Toes,” which has bright production from the Manchester team WhYJay and LiTek (WhyTek) reminiscent of legendary crossover rap from the 2000s. Clavish has a good time boasting about his erratic lifestyle, and then Aitch chimes in with a similarly boastful song, detailing how his game has progressed from the flip phone to the Maybach.

After debuting at #2 in the charts with Close To Home and being named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2017, Aitch has emerged as one of the UK’s most promising young rap artists. The platinum-selling, BRIT Award-winning performer, who was born in New Moston, North Manchester, has established himself as a genuine Mancunian storyteller in the tradition of John Cooper Clarke and Shaun Ryder. Aitch’s streak of top 10 successes and collaborations with Ashanti, Ed Sheeran, AJ Tracey, and Stormzy have helped put his city back on the worldwide music map.

Clavish has often demonstrated that he can perform popular songs while remaining true to his roots. When it was published in January, his debut mixtape, Rap Game Awful, quickly rose to the top of the UK album charts, where it has remained ever since. Both “Rocket Science” and “Pakistan,” which were produced in tandem with D-Block Europe, debuted in the top 10 on the UK Official Singles Chart. ‘Public Figure’ is where Clavish dealt with his sudden fame, and it was the song’s co-sign by Drake on OVO Sound Radio that propelled him into the spotlight.
