Emerging Afrobeats and AfroPop artist Martel B unveils the viral video for his latest single “Badda Dan Dem” which is taken from his debut EP titled ‘Limited Edition’, and comes on the back of support from the likes of BBC 1Xtra’s DJ Edu, Capital Xtra’s DJ Abrantee and the MOBO Awards among others.
Produced by Malawian beatsmith and long-time collaborator Sean Focus, “Badda Dan Dem” sees Martel B in flying form, with a captivating flow over the thumping drums-led musical backdrop. On the visual side, the viral video was shot in a secret location in Woolwich Arsenal and adds further life to the “Badda Dan Dem” record, while highlighting Martel B’s charisma and commanding presence.
Emerging out of the UK music scene, Martel B has created his own individual and unique mark on the African Music landscape. With a very distinctive style that sets him apart from other Afrobeats and AfroPop singers, Martel B engrosses his listeners and attacks his records with clever wordplay, emotive lyrical dexterity and his trademark smooth vocals.
