Skateboard P might have topped his star-studded performance from last weekend.
Part of the downside of attending Coachella’s second weekend is that you already know what to expect from most of the performances if you were paying attention the prior weekend. Well, Pharrell did his part in ensuring surprises for attendees of both weekends, opting for an entirely new guest list for his set last night.
He brought out T.I. to perform “Blurred Lines,” Pusha T for the Clipse classic, “Grindin’,” Usher for “U Don’t Have To Call” and finally, Jay Z showed up for “Frontin’,” “Excuse Me Miss,” “La La La (Exuse Me Miss Again),” and “I Just Wanna Love U (Give it 2 Me).” Assembling four high profile stars from the Hip-Hop and R&B worlds, Pharrell may have even topped his set from last weekend, which saw Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Tyler The Creator, Diddy, Busta Rhymes and Gwen Stefani joining him on stage.
