During The Morning Show, Peter Rosenberg addresses Wayne’s statement that Rosenberg is disrespectful to women. Rosenberg poses the question is his statement, his opinion on Nicki Minaj’s song Starships, not fitting his standards of being “real Hip-Hop” disrespectful towards women? Then, he continues to play snippets from Lil Wayne tracks that contradict respecting women.
“Weezy F and the F doesn’t stand for feminist,” Rosenberg said. He goes on in bringing up Nicki, stating that instead of listening to either Nicki or Weezy’s advice on respecting women; Young Money should go talk to Hot 97. But Rosenberg ends his rant by saying Young Money won’t come because, according to Rosenberg, “then they’d have to hear the truth and they can’t handle the truth.”
