Having dropped his new track “Good Good” a few weeks ago, Usher has returned with the official music video, which features Summer Walker and 21 Savage.
The Atlanta-set video, directed by Warren Fu, features Usher in various settings (including the bedroom) while he discusses an ex with whom he remains on good terms. He’s singing about how he regrets that they weren’t able to last forever and how they “probably ain’t getting back together” as he sobs in his room. The lyric continues, “But that don’t mean that I can’t wish you better / We ain’t good good, but we still good.”
Summer Walker sings from a female perspective as she rests in bed, “It didn’t work, but I hope you find another I wish you peace, I wish you good sex and good sleep,” as 21 continues to communicate with his ex-girlfriend.
