Finnish rapper View shares the video to his second single “Trippin’ Sober” off his upcoming debut album..

Trippin’ Sober is a statement against artists and musicians who can’t stay sober in the studio:

“This track is not an anti-drug campaign. I don’t really care what drugs people do and how much. The point is that the state of mind that we have in the studio is something that others try to reach with alcohol and drugs. With us it is the other way around. When we go out and grab a beer it is to balance the crazy atmosphere in the studio. I don’t think it’s cool if you have to get wasted to reach a creative state of mind. If the only content of the song is the artist saying how wasted he or she is, it’s time to raise the bar.”

The music video for Trippin’ Sober was shot in a Parisian suburb, and ironically the crew had a hard time shaking off local drug dealers who didn’t take very kindly to the cameras.

View’s music is all about breaking traditional rules and patterns. View’s unique vocals and futuristic production sum up to a recognizable and fresh take on what hiphop sounds like on 2017. Since he started doing live shows in 2016 View has been performing in the UK, Germany, France, Denmark and Switzerland. In Finland the rapper has performed at almost all the big summer festivals.
