Wale made an announcement on Wednesday afternoon (Jun. 15), revealing a new mixtape titled Summer On Sunset will drop this Friday. Hours later, the MMG rapper headed to NBC studios, appearing as musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Back by The Roots, Wale performed his new single “My P.Y.T.” for the first-time live. Judging by the crowd reaction, the D.C. veteran has another summer anthem on his hands.
Out now on iTunes, “My P.Y.T.” will appear on Wale’s fifth solo LP S.H.I.N.E. (Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy) due later this year.
