Over the weekend, Birdman announced he signed a deal with Apple Music on behalf of Cash Money. The specifics of the deal haven’t been made public, but it’s been confirmed — at the very least — the streaming service would help bankroll a documentary about the start of the infamous label.
Today, Apple Music shared the trailer for “The Cash Money Story” called Before Anythang. At a minute long, testimonies from family members and friends from Baby’s upbringing detail how his nickname of Baby came about, how his dad predicted his son would become a millionaire and how he was running the streets before the label was even a thought.
The documentary is set to land on Apple Music some time this fall.
