After a four-part mini-series leading up to its debut, J. Cole’s Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming Concert HBO documentary made its television premiere on Saturday night.
The 80-minute documentary chronicles the final stop on J. Cole’s highly successful “Forest Hills Drive” world tour, a special homecoming show in the rapper’s hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Along with performing songs off his platinum-selling 2014 Forest Hills Drive LP, the HBO feature gives backstage access, plus a very compelling life story through Cole’s music with commentary from people who live in the community of Fayetteville, plus close friends and family.
Jay Z and Drake also make guest appearances in the documentary, which can be viewed in full below.
