Before his headlining set during the first weekend of Coachella 2017, Kendrick Lamar sat down with Zane Lowe in the California Desert for a rare one-on-one interview. Aired on Apple Music’s Beats 1 on Friday afternoon (Apr. 21), the 45-minute conversation focuses on the creation on Lamar’s new album DAMN., a project set to become the fast-selling and highest debut week this year when it lands No. 1 on Billboard early next week.
