From releasing his long-awaited Konnichiwa album to winning the Mercury Prize to selling out London’s Alexandra Palace (aka Ally Pally), 2016 has been one to remember for Skepta. To cap off his career year, Apple Music are releasing a documentary called Skepta: Greatness Only on December 19. The trailer, which you can watch below, finds the North London MC reflecting on his journey thus far, including the “nervous breakdown” he suffered during his first stint with mainstream success a few years ago. These days, Skepta’s back on top — on his own terms.
Sounds like there’s a documentary on Skepta’s Boy Better Know label in the works, too.
