One of grime music’s pioneers, British rapper Wiley will release his eleventh album Godfather at the top of 2017. The announcement came as a welcome surprise for his fans after the rapper said he would not release any more solo albums following his 2014 release Snakes & Ladders.
Wiley gave Beats 1 Radio’s Julie Adenuga the green light to debut “U Were Always pt. 2” off Godfather. The sequel to Roll Deep’s Street Anthems song, the SWV-samplingtrack also features longtime collaborator Skepta as well as XO/Roc Nation’s Belly.
