Will Wallace gives Rachelle Rhienne‘s original track “Greenlight” the EDM treatment.
Will Wallace bursts on to the scene, all speakers blazing with his newest, upbeat EDM banger. The 22-year-old Preston native is no stranger to the dance music scene having made a name for himself as a producer and DJ already, but instead of chasing cheers, he’ll now be chasing streams as he makes his musical debut with ‘Greenlight’, featuring Rachelle Rhienne.
Remixed to electronic perfection, ‘Greenlight’ is Will’s epic reimagining of Rachelle’s original, comparatively tame pop single. By taking her foundations and building them back up again, adding some bass, upping the tempo and pretty much flipping the entire song on its head, Will’s remix is a world away from Rachelle’s initial release. Although he kept her cheery, sweet-as-pie vocals, EDM lovers need not worry, ‘Greenlight’ still packs all the power and punch that we all live for.
The track is accompanied by visual treatment which actually brings the beat and tempo to life. Directed by Jeremie Brivet and Jai Garcha, the video tells the story of a gang of escaped OAP’s wreaking havoc on their local community following the leaking of an EDM track which seems to cause ‘dancing mania’. An absolutely ridiculous storyline but an incredibly fitting one nonetheless.
