Y Not Festival is officially back for 2026 and the first wave of artists already proves why it remains one of the North’s most loved summer festivals. Returning to Pikehall, Derbyshire from 30 July to 2 August 2026, the nineteenth edition brings four huge headliners and a lineup stacked with indie icons, festival favourites, and rising UK talent.

This year kicks off early with The Libertines, who open the festival for Thursday early-entry guests. Fresh from their 2025 Glastonbury appearance and the success of their acclaimed album All Quiet On the Eastern Esplanade, the band are set to deliver the explosive indie chaos fans know and love.

They’ll be followed by three massive weekend headliners:

  • The Reytons — returning after multiple unforgettable Y Not sets, now stepping into another headline moment.
  • Two Door Cinema Club — bringing their sleek indie-electronic anthems and crowd-pleasing festival hits.
  • The Streets — closing Y Not 2026 with a Sunday headline full of classics, emotion, and Mike Skinner’s unmatched stage presence.

The excitement doesn’t stop there. The first wave features huge names including Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines, Happy Mondays, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Reverend and The Makers, Scouting For Girls, Ash, The Royston Club, Keo and rising artist Freddie Halkon.

From indie legends and Britpop royalty to next-generation rock bands, Y Not Festival 2026 is shaping up to be one of the strongest editions yet.

With its history of memorable performances, incredible energy, and unmatched festival spirit, Y Not continues to cement itself as a staple of the UK festival calendar.
