YG, the multi-platinum West Coast veteran and superstar rapper, pays tribute to his late buddy and fellow MC Slim 400 with the release of the tune and video “Miss My Dawgs,” which features Lil Wayne.
“Miss My Dawgs,” a previously unheard tune, is YG’s first new music since the release of I GOT ISSUES in September, his highly personal sixth studio album with appearances from hip-hop giants including J. Cole. Cole, Post Malone, Nas, Roddy Rich, and more appear.
The new album has spawned a slew of single and video releases, beginning with “Scared Money,” which features J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo; “Run,” which features Tyga, 21 Savage, and BIA; and “Toxic,” which was released in August accompanied an outstanding performance for Berlin’s COLORSxSTUDIOS YouTube channel. The performance of “Alone” in the studio was followed by “Maniac” with Hit-Boy and “I Dance” featuring Duki & Cuco.
