Meek Mill guests on a new version of Young Thug’s “Digits”.
Slime Season 3 arrived to immediate praise last week, adding a few instant classics to the Thug cannon upon its release. “Digits,” a collaboration with one of Thugger’s most reliable producers, London On Da Track, arose as a fan favorite, but according to the rapper, the version of the song we had heard was not complete, as Meek Mill was meant to be featured on the record.
After hearing a promising clip of the Meek edition of the song, it arrives in full today, featuring a short but memorable verse from the Philly rapper who is currently under house arrest. Meek follows a similar flow to Thug in his opening bars, displaying a surprisingly effective singing voice, before transitioning into more familiar territory with some tightly packed triplets.
