There’s so much Young Thug music being leaked practically every week it’s hard to keep up with what’s official and what’s unfinished. However, this latest upload from Atlanta producer Dun Deal (“Stoner”) is not only legit, but noticeably different — even for Thugga’s standards. Why? Because “Top Notch” is the EDM Young Thug song that was waiting to happen.

Even with Dun Deal and Niko The Kid’s high voltage production splitting your ear drums wide open, though, Thugga refuses to be drowned out and his idiosyncratic delivery takes to the unfamiliar surroundings like a chameleon. Things actually get more melodic towards the middle, which is when Young Dro channels his inner Migos with a Versace-draped verse.
Judging by the artwork, it looks like “Top Notch” will live on an upcoming Young Thug compilation called E.T. Volume 1. Slime Season 3, meanwhile, is set to drop next month.
