Maybe Young Thug can sell music after all.
There’s always been a question if the 24 year old’s popularity will eventually lead toalbum sales.
And the initial first week sales projections of 27,000-30,000 for his commercially available mixtape Slime Season 3 didn’t do much to answer that.
However, SS3‘s final first week numbers have come in at 38,349 copies, good for seventh on the Billboard album charts. Which is not bad at all for an album you can stream for free on Dat Piff.
Thugger is expected to drop his proper debut album Hy!£UN35 this summer.
