Premiered on i-D this morning, the video for “Never Had” is directed by J.Mornix, shot in London it depicts Fume and JME walking through abstract aisles stocked with all of the things they “Never Had”.
‘Never Had’ is the lead track off of Yung Fume’s upcoming debut EP titled “Level Up” on Payday Records (the recently revived iconic US Hip Hop label which was the first to sign Jay-Z). It was produced entirely by Atlanta super producer Zaytoven (Gucci Mane, Future) and features guest appearances from hot Atlanta rapper Young Nudy as well as JME.
The first UK artist signing to iconic label Payday Records, South London rapper Yung Fume first started making noise with a guest appearance on Stormzy’s debut EP ‘Dreamers Disease’. He followed with a trio of independently released mixtapes, (‘Too Much Wave’, ‘Noughts and Crosses’, ‘Noughts and Crosses 2’) and the Radio 1Xtra playlisted ‘Watch Me Flex’( featuring remixes from Wizkid, Ty Dolla $ign and Tinie Tempah).
