In anticipation of her debut EP, Zanillya kicks off 2021 with her latest offering ‘Million Reasons’ giving fans a taste of what to expect from the forthcoming project.
Getting candid on the track, Zanillya opens up about her heartache and trying times, the latest offering shows a new side to the emerging artist, as she shares her first love song, whilst sticking to her well known RnB, Hip Hop influenced roots.
Speaking on the track she said: “This is my first love song. To me there are always a million reasons to walk away from love. I wrote this song when Humphrey Dennis, my partner in life but also in music, were in a rough patch.
“As the opening line says ‘We’ve been running miles, there ain’t nothing left’, but when you have the courage to look deep within yourself and heal the broken parts that are triggered by the other, yet also keep choosing one another, there are also a million reasons worth fighting for.”
From capturing the attention of music listeners since 2018 with “For You” and “In It 4 a Lifetime”, to accumulating support from key tastemakers and a dedicated fan base alike, it’s just the start for this emerging artist, as the triple threat’s passion and creative abilities see her stand firm in her notable presence in the scene.
