The “Time” has finally arrived. After plenty of teasing, Zayn has unleashed his PARTYNEXTDOOR-assisted single “Still Got Time.”
Drenched in Caribbean sounds, the British crooner’s latest is dance-ready, providing a soundtrack for the clubs and for young romance. “Just stop looking for love,” he sings. “Girl, you know you still got time.”
PND adds to the theme: “I could tell you’ve been bored all day / You’re young and you still got time / Don’t waste your time / We’ve been wasting away / And no matter what you say / That smile gon’ take you places / And I know you want to see some places.”
“Still Got Time,” produced by Frank Dukes and Murda Beatz, is the first single off Zayn’s sophomore album, due this summer. It’s the follow-up to his 2016 debut Mind of Mine, which entered at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the chart-topping hit “Pillowtalk.”
Zayn’s PND tag team follows some big name collaborations for the former One Direction member, including “Freedun” with M.I.A., “Cruel” with Snakeships, “Pillowtalk (Remix)” with Lil Wayne, and “Back to Sleep (Remix)” with Usher and Chris Brown.
