ZION is the 19-year-old British-Nigerian artist stepping up in the South London R&B scene. Premiered on GRM recently, his new single ‘The Point’ is released via Virgin EMI.
Described by ZION as “an eclectic contemporary R&B take on the rising UK Drill scene”, ‘The Point’ follows the release of ZION’s recent singles ‘Friendzone‘ and ‘No Wahala’ (a take on Ivorian Coast Group Magic System’s Afrobeats classic ‘Premier Gaou’) which have collectively garnered over 1 million streams and 600K video views to date.
Filmed in London, the music video for ‘The Point’ is directed by LX who’s recently worked with the likes of Dave, iLL BLU, Krept & Konan, and Django Django and cements the beginning of ZION’s rise in the UK.
