On the first play Zyaire Rosier reminded me of Kendrick Lamar, with his deep flows and poetic rhymes. The track ‘I See Jesus’ is dedicated to his single mother who traveled from the dirt slums of Haiti. Zyaire reflects on her hardships and her journey from port au prince, Haiti to America. He speaks about their battles with socioeconomic struggles that they faced in the America’s and their resiliency to overcome.
