Following the huge success of “XO Tour Llif3,″ the fan favorite “The Way Life Goes” is the latest single off Lil’ Uzi Vert’s No. 1 album Luv is Rage 2. Added to rotation on Urban radio back in October, the record got a huge co-sign from Nicki Minaj hours after the album dropped back in late August.
“Ummm Uzi better make this a single, send me the beat, and quit playin,” said the Young Money Queen, in an Instagram post where she’s singing along to the melodic song. Two months later, Minaj gets her wish as she joins the Philly artist on the official remix. Along with an opening guest verse, Nicki gets playful with some rhymes on the song’s outro.
