2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have revisited ColleGrove with the release of the second installment in their collaborative album series, Welcome 2 ColleGrove.
Narrated by 50 Cent, the 21-track album includes previously released singles such as “Presha,” “Long Story Short,” and “Oprah & Gayle” featuring Benny The Butcher. The project features a star-studded lineup with guest appearances by Rick Ross, Usher, 21 Savage, Fabolous, Vory, and Marsha Ambrosius, among others.
Some notable tracks on the album include “G6,” “Crazy Thick,” “Bars,” “Crown Snatcher,” “Can’t Believe You,” “Transparency,” “Big Diamonds,” and “P.P.A.” The closing track, “Moonlight,” features Marsha Ambrosius.
Welcome 2 ColleGrove follows the duo’s first collaborative effort, ColleGrove, released in 2016. The new album marks 2 Chainz’s first full-length project since his 2022 album Dope Don’t Sell Itself. Similarly, Lil Wayne recently dropped the mixtape Tha Fix Before Tha VI in September.
