2019 Grammy Awards Nominations

2019 Grammy Awards

It is that time of the year again when GRAMMYs announce the nominations across all genres and make most fans upset because of the choices.

Hip-Hop has been a dominant force in the industry for past many years but experts and fans believe that The Recording Academy has not done enough to represent the culture at the highest music awards show. Jay-Z was majorly ignored last year and took home zero awards despite being nominated for several awards around his album 4:44.

Below are all the main and Rap/R&B nominations. Kendrick has managed to grab the most number (eight), thanks to the Black Panther soundtrack. It is worth noting that Mac Miller has also earned his first GRAMMY nod for “best rap album” (Swimming). Check out rest of the categories here.
