Rapper 21 Savage perseveres through his trials and tribulations in his highly-anticipated third solo album, “American Dream.” The album, inspired by his upcoming biopic, “American Dream: The 21 Savage Story,” features 15 tracks that delve into the artist’s life and experiences.

The album kicks off with the title track, “American Dream,” setting the tone for a journey through 21 Savage’s narrative. Tracks like “Redrum,” “All Of Me,” “Sneaky,” “Letter To My Brudda,” and “See The Real” contribute to the raw and authentic storytelling that has become synonymous with 21 Savage’s style.

Producer and frequent collaborator Metro Boomin plays a significant role throughout the album, appearing on tracks like “Pop Ur Shit” with Young Thug, “Nee-Nah” featuring Travis Scott, and “Just Like Me” with Burna Boy. Other featured artists include Doja Cat, Lil Durk, Summer Walker, Brent Faiyaz, and Mariah The Scientist.

“American Dream: The 21 Savage Story” is a film based on the rapper’s upbringing, music career, and his controversial incarceration by ICE in 2019. Donald Glover stars as 21 Savage in the film, with actor Caleb McLaughlin portraying the rapper during his younger years.

“American Dream” marks 21 Savage’s first solo album since 2018’s chart-topping “I Am > I Was.” In the interim, the Atlanta rapper collaborated on two chart-topping albums, including last year’s “Her Loss” with Drake and “Savage Mode II” with Metro Boomin in 2020.
