Dreamville is showing no signs of slowing down. After a busy 2018 filled with a handful of releases, the label created a buzz to start off the new year with their Revenge of the Dreamers III sessions in Atlanta, spearheaded by J. Cole. A new two-week hub where the rap community gathered to create records for the compilation project, the retreat served as the anchor for what Dreamville plans to be an even bigger year. J. Cole kicks things off by dropping his new single, “Middle Child.” Produced by T-Minus, the title is playful reference to Cole World’s position currently in rap.

“I’m dead in the middle of two generations/ I’m little bro and big bro all at once. “Just left the lab with young 21 Savage/ I’m bout to go and meet Jigga for lunch,” raps the Roc Nation star. A warning shot of whats to come, the song could potentially end up on Cole’s upcoming The Off Season or The Fall Off projects. Stream it below.
