A Tribe Called Quest, the pioneering Hip-Hop collective who have announced a reissue of their 1991 landmark album ‘The Low End Theory’ in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
Highly regarded as a milestone in 90s Hip-Hop, the jazz-influenced project has been credited with helping to shape alternative hip hop in the years after its release.
In addition to helping launch rapper Busta Rhymes’ successful solo career, numerous artists such as Mos Def, The Roots, Pharrell, Outkast, Kanye West, Common, D’Angelo, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Logic, Dr. Dre and Jack White have cited the album as being pivotal to their development as musicians.
Set for release this Friday September 24th – the expanded edition will include the original album in its entirety bundled with brand new remix bundles of classic tracks ‘Check The Rhime’, ‘Scenario’ and ‘Jazz (We’ve Got)’.
