A Tribe Called Quest gave us their first album in 18 years last week with We Got It from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service. Featuring guest appearances from Kanye West, André 3000, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John, Busta Rhymes, Jack White, Talib Kweli, Anderson. Paak and Consequence, the album came at a perfect time with the current political and social climate in America.
Set to debut No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart next week, the project gets its first music video for the standout track “We the People….” In the VEVO premiere, the world stops and moves to hear ATCQ lead member Q-Tip preach the gospel and bring attention to the issues currently plaguing the USA. ATCQ extended members Busta Rhymes and Consequence also make appearances in the video that can be watched below.
