After a rocky 2018 experiencing heartbreak and death, Ariana Grande finds solace in music with her new album, thank u, next. The follow-up to last year’s Sweetner is lead by her two Billboard Hot 100 No. 1s, “thank u, next” and “7 Rings.” Ariana’s fifth studio LP also includes the songs “imagine,” and her next single “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored.” The 12-track album is out now on iTunes and all streaming platforms.
On Thursday (Feb. 7), the 25-year-old confirmed her withdrawal from attending and performing at the 2019 GRAMMY Awards this weekend after a disagreement with GRAMMY producer Ken Ehlrich over not being able to choose the songs she wanted to perform. The singer is nominated for ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ (Sweetener) and ‘Best Pop Solo Performance’ (“God Is a Woman”).
