BNXN (aka Buju) recruits Kizz Daniel and breakthrough artist Seyi Vibez on for his latest release “Gwagwalada.”
Taking its title from a notorious neighbourhood in Abuja, the track has a velvety, feel-good production by serial hitmaker Sarz (Wizkid/Chris Brown), who also wrote the song. In less than 24 hours after its release, the song topped Apple Music’s Nigerian Hot 100 list.
Since releasing his first extended play (EP), Sorry I’m Late, towards the end of 2017, BNXN has gone from strength to strength, becoming one of Nigeria’s most recognisable voices and finding success throughout Africa and beyond. He has established himself as a bona fide hitmaker after selling out many London venues and breaking into the Top 40 of The Official UK charts with the help of UK rapper Dave on Jae5.
