NEWS: Chief Keef Responds To Jay-Z’s Shout Out On “Open Letter” & The White House Addresses Jay-Z’s Song

This morning, Jay-Z surprised the world with a new song, “Open Letter,” where he addresses a lot of current subject matter, including the recent attention he and his wife Beyonce have been getting for their trip to Cuba, as well as the fact that he’s selling his percentage of the Brooklyn Nets.

As Hov lets off steam about those topics, he also gives a shout-out to Chicago’s own Chief Keef, with the bars: “Fine, let me commit a real crime/ I might buy a kilo for Chief Keef.”

President Obama also gets a shout-out from Hova just a little bit later, when he spits, “Obama said chill, you gonna get me impeached/ But you don’t need this shit anyway/Chill with me on the beach.”

Although Obama has yet to acknowledge Hov’s bars, Chief Keef already has. The rapper responded via Twitter, saluting Jay-Z, as well as retweeting a bunch of fans quoting the line in question. The rapper said, (spelling error included), “Salute Jay Z King Of This Shit Abyways.” See his tweets below.
