Chris Brown pleads guilty to parole violation charges and receives a 131 day sentence.
Last October, the perpetually troubled Chris Brown was involved in an altercation outside of a hotel in Washington, D.C., and that resulted in charges of parole violation. Today, Brown pleaded guilty to those charges, and was slapped with a 131 day jail sentence in return.
The Associated Press reports that Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin initially sentenced Brown to a year in county jail, but gave the singer credit for nearly eight months of time served due to his stay in a rehab facility and good behavior behind bars. At the end of the day, Brown’s total sentences now include 131 days in jail, 1,000 hours of community service to be completed after his release and a probationary period that will last until January 23rd, 2015.
