Rapper Common and producer Pete Rock have teamed up for their highly-anticipated collaborative series, The Auditorium, debuting with The Auditorium, Vol. 1. This 15-track project marks a significant return for both artists, featuring a blend of introspective and soulful tracks.

Leading the album are the singles “Wise Up,” “Dreamin,” “All Kinds Of Ideas,” and “Fortunate.” The project continues with standout tracks like “Chi-Town Do It,” “This Man’s Arms,” “We’re On Our Way,” “Stellar,” “Lonesome,” and “Now And Then.”

Guest appearances elevate the album’s appeal, with Bilal featured on “So Many People,” Posdnuos on “When The Sun Shines Again,” Jennifer Hudson on “A God,” and PJ contributing to “Everything’s So Grand.”

The Auditorium, Vol. 1 is Common’s first major release since his 2021 album, A Beautiful Revolution Pt. 2, and Pete Rock’s first since Return Of The SP1200, Vol. 2 and Petestrumentals 4 in 2022. This album promises to be a rich addition to the legacies of both artists.
